Today's TRY Social Dilemma came from a news story and I just HAD to make it our social dilemma because it made me crazy. Doritos is apparently in the process of making new chips solely for women. They are calling them "lady friendly" chips. The difference between them and regular Doritos - they won't have the orange dust all over them, they won't crunch as loudly, and there will be small bags to fit inside your purse. WHAT?!?!?!? Doritos says the reason they're doing it is because women don't like their fingers to get all orange, they are embarrassed to crunch to loudly, and they want a smaller portion thus the size that fits in their purse. Again, I say, WHAT?!?!?!? I am a bit of a neat freak so I don't like the orange fingers, but I don't mind crunching loudly and I can eat my Doritos with the best of them. I also hate the term "lady friendly." But my friend Shanna who works down the hall on 99-5 The River disagrees. She likes the idea of the new chips. She doesn't like having messy fingers and she digs the idea of having a bag small enough that she can have it with her. Okay, so let's get to you. What do you think of these new Doritos?
