Social Dilemma - Have You Been Caught With A Tag Left On A New Shirt?

Well, this happened to me yesterday, and I felt like a bit of a dork.  Please Please Please tell me this has happened to you.   So let me explain.  For the past two weeks, we've had a lot of meetings that we've had to go to.  It's something we do every Spring, where we basically meet with businesses to introduce ourselves and let them know that we love being part of the community, and if there's anything we can do to help them, we're in.  It's one of my favorite parts of the job.  I love meeting new people and I love finding out who's in our community.  Anyway, so yesterday, I had two different meetings to go to.  All of the people were incredibly nice.  In between the first and second meeting, I had about a half hour to run home and change my clothes.  I wanted to do that just because my work day starts at 3:30am and I had been in my clothes all day and this meeting was at 3:15 so I wanted to freshen up.  So I wash up and quickly change and bang, head out the door.  I meet my coworker outside the business and in we go.   We sit down and everything was going great.  Wonderful conversation, just perfect.  And then the person we're talking with, Sara, says to me, Jaime, I think there's something on your shirt.  And she reaches to my shoulder.  We both reach at the same time, and what is it you ask......the tag on the shirt.  It was a new shirt I had bought over the weekend and I never took the tag off it.  I was so embarrassed.  I mean I made a joke out of it, but I still felt like a dork.  It was almost as bad as when the dryer sheet came flying out of the arm of my shirt when I went to shake hands with someone.  Sara was very kind about it and laughed it off, but when you're trying to put your best foot forward, I felt, as Elf would say, like a cotton headed ninny muggins.    If it happened with a friend, it would be no big deal, but I was trying to be as professional as I could be.  Do you think I should send an email apologizing or just leave it alone and not bring it up anymore?   Help me out with this one. please.  And has it happened to you?   Let me know what you think on the 98-3 TRY Facebook page.
