Hard to believe it's the 12th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. We all remember where we were and what we were doing when it all started on the beautiful Tuesday morning. As we continue to honor America, and the lives lost and those affected (really, all of us) on that day, we here at Oldies 98-3 are using the anniversary as a Day of Service. In some way today, and throughout the days and weeks ahead, however you can, donate your time and attention to someone who needs you. Whether you're working at a soup kitchen, volunteering time with kids, giving back to the community through charities, let's all honor those who passed and those who survived 9/11 by showing that no matter what the terrorists did that day, we will never be afraid to help someone else, we will always give of our time and attention to those who need it, and we will live happily and peaceful with one another in this great country. Let us never forget, and as we remember that day, let's do it knowing we are stronger, more unified and more accepting and helpful of one another than ever! Peace!
