Born and bred here in the Capital Region, and happy to still live within five miles of my childhood home in North Greenbush. I am the proud aunt of Gabrielle, Dominique, Robbie, Bridget, Kateri, Victoria, James, Olivia and little JR! I am happiest when I get to spend as much time as possible with them. I am also a certified pet lover, with two cats, Mokie and Minnie and two dogs....Freckles and Leo!!
And here's the newest photo of Leo, at two years old....he's learned to beg for pizza very well!
Spending time with family and friends is number one on my list of favorite leisure activities. I also enjoy movies, reading a good mystery, swimming and playing computer games (I have to stay on top of the games, so I can play with the kids). I love vacationing on Cape Cod, or heading out to sea on one of our Cruises to the Caribbean. Want to know more....feel free to ask! Steve Caporizzo of NewsCenter at 10 on Fox 23 spoke to me this morning about his piece on some Amish puppy mills. It's an interesting story that will bring tears to your eyes but also give you hope on how to help our four legged friends. Find out more tonight on Newscenter at 10 on Fox 23 tonight. THE HANGOVER PART 3
The Office ended it's 9 year run last night. I didn't think I was going to care since I really haven't watched the show in about a year and a half, but the truth is, I did care and so I stayed up late and tuned in to see how it would all end. I'm really glad I did. It reminded me why I loved that show so much. It's like life....exxagerated. We all have quirky people around us, The Office just pointed it out better than we ever could. And it was nice to see Steve Carell come back to say a final goodbye too. So saying goodbye to The Office is like saying goodbye to an old friend. It was nice to know it was always around on Thursday night if I needed to hang out. Thanks for 9 years of fun, and showing me that even the ordinary can be very funny. Thank God for DVD's and reruns!!
It's rare that I have peaceful coexistence in my home so when it happens, I like to share it! For only the second time in their lives, Freckles and Leo decided to take a nap together. Don't get me wrong, they love each other, they just don't usually like sleeping next to each other. Had to snap the photo and show you that I can find peace in my home....in rare moments :) To see more cute pets, just click on Leo and Freckles' photo and if you have a cute pet you'd like featured here, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks!

Nights like tonight are why God made DVR's! It's a big finale night on TV, and I've been saying all along that tonight is the night to watch Idol even if you haven't watch all season because it's a big concert show. But tonight is also the end of The Office. I loved the Office! I watched all the way through to last season, but this season, I just couldn't do it. It didn't feel the same without our old buddy Michael Scott. That being said. There's no way I couldn't watch tonight to see how it all ends. So yep, I'll be DVR's The Office while I watch the Idol finale...oh and of course, there's also the finale of Elementary. I'm on TV overload, but like I said...this is why God made DVR's!
Well, tonight's the night...the big finale of American Idol. Will it be Kree or Candice who walks away with the crown this season. I don't think it really matters because both of them are incredible singers, but if I had to pick, I think I'd go with Candice. But even if you're not into either of the finalists, tonight is the night to tune into Idol. On the finale, there are always big name guest starts, fantastic performances, and big surprises. Heck, we already know that Jennifer Hudson, Frankie Valli and the Band Perry will be on. So even if you're not the biggest Idol fan, it's worth checking out tonight, even if you have to DVR it. It's like watching a great concert with all kinds of music, and oh yeah, someone will win a record contract too!
