Nobody likes to toss and turn when they get into bed.  I hate that.  You get into bed thinking you're going to fall right to sleep and then you just can't do it.  Well, here's the secret, according to a doctor friend of mine.  Go to bed wearing socks....seriously.   Apparently your hands and feet need to be warm for the rest of your body to get warm, so if you go to bed with socks on and snuggle in making sure your hands are warm, you'll fall asleep quicker because your body will warm up quicker.  It works for me, since I've tried it.  I kick the socks off in the middle of the night, but by then I'm all warmed up and good.   Give it a try and let me know if it helps you!!

The Office ended it's 9 year run last night.   I didn't think I was going to care since I really haven't watched the show in about a year and a half, but the truth is, I did care and so I stayed up late and tuned in to see how it would all end.   I'm really glad I did.  It reminded me why I loved that show so much.  It's like life....exxagerated.  We all have quirky people around us, The Office just pointed it out better than we ever could.   And it was nice to see Steve Carell come back to say a final goodbye too.  So saying goodbye to The Office is like saying goodbye to an old friend.  It was nice to know it was always around on Thursday night if I needed to hang out.  Thanks for 9 years of fun, and showing me that even the ordinary can be very funny.    Thank God for DVD's and reruns!!
