Nights like tonight are why God made DVR's!  It's a big finale night on TV, and I've been saying all along that tonight is the night to watch Idol even if you haven't watch all season because it's a big concert show.   But tonight is also the end of The Office.  I loved the Office!  I watched all the way through to last season, but this season, I just couldn't do it.  It didn't feel the same without our old buddy Michael Scott.  That being said.  There's no way I couldn't watch tonight to see how it all ends.   So yep, I'll be DVR's The Office while I watch the Idol finale...oh and of course, there's also the finale of Elementary.  I'm on TV overload, but like I said...this is why God made DVR's!

Well, tonight's the night...the big finale of American Idol.  Will it be Kree or Candice who walks away with the crown this season.   I don't think it really matters because both of them are incredible singers, but if I had to pick, I think I'd go with Candice.  But even if you're not into either of the finalists, tonight is the night to tune into Idol.  On the finale, there are always big name guest starts, fantastic performances, and big surprises.  Heck, we already know that Jennifer Hudson, Frankie Valli and the Band Perry will be on.  So even if you're not the biggest Idol fan, it's worth checking out tonight, even if you have to DVR it.   It's like watching a great concert with all kinds of music, and oh yeah, someone will win a record contract too!

I don't think I've been this happy about food since I learned how to make the rice krispie treat!!  Kellogs has finally given us back our Peanut Butter Pop Tarts!!!  The last time any kind of peanut butter pop tart was on the shelves was back in 1987 when they pulled the Peanut Butter and Jelly Pop Tart.  But now the wonderful pop tart scientists have come up with Peanut Butter Pop Tarts and Chocolate Frosted Peanut Butter Pop Tarts!   It is a happy day in the Roberts household.  I know what I'll be eating for breakfast (and maybe lunch) for the foreseeable future!   Welcome back Peanut Butter Pop Tarts...we've missed you!!!!
