Born and bred here in the Capital Region, and happy to still live within five miles of my childhood home in North Greenbush. I am the proud aunt of Gabrielle, Dominique, Robbie, Bridget, Kateri, Victoria, James, Olivia and little JR! I am happiest when I get to spend as much time as possible with them. I am also a certified pet lover, with two cats, Mokie and Minnie and two dogs....Freckles and Leo!!
And here's the newest photo of Leo, at two years old....he's learned to beg for pizza very well!
Spending time with family and friends is number one on my list of favorite leisure activities. I also enjoy movies, reading a good mystery, swimming and playing computer games (I have to stay on top of the games, so I can play with the kids). I love vacationing on Cape Cod, or heading out to sea on one of our Cruises to the Caribbean. Want to know more....feel free to ask! Nicol Lally of NewsCenter at 10 on Fox 23 spoke to me this morning about her piece how we may be bringing viruses and bacteria into our homes even though we think we're doing the right thing by helping the environment. Okay I admit it, I LOVE getting Christmas cards in the mail, but I haven't sent out Christmas cards in about six years. I just figure with emails, texts and phone calls, I can reach out to all my friends and wish them a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday that way. I know the old rule was "you don't send, you don't receive" but I still get Christmas cards every year and I truly appreciate them. And my friends always tell me, they do it because they love sending, not because they expect something back. So, what do you think? Are Christmas cards outdated in the new techie world, or do you still send. Let me know in the comments below. Thanks...and Merry Christmas!!! :)
