Born and bred here in the Capital Region, and happy to still live within five miles of my childhood home in North Greenbush. I am the proud aunt of Gabrielle, Dominique, Robbie, Bridget, Kateri, Victoria, James, Olivia and little JR! I am happiest when I get to spend as much time as possible with them. I am also a certified pet lover, with two cats, Mokie and Minnie and two dogs....Freckles and Leo!!
And here's the newest photo of Leo, at two years old....he's learned to beg for pizza very well!

Spending time with family and friends is number one on my list of favorite leisure activities. I also enjoy movies, reading a good mystery, swimming and playing computer games (I have to stay on top of the games, so I can play with the kids). I love vacationing on Cape Cod, or heading out to sea on one of our Cruises to the Caribbean. Want to know more....feel free to ask! Steve Caporizzo of NewsCenter at 10 on Fox 23 spoke to me this morning about his piece on some Amish puppy mills. It's an interesting story that will bring tears to your eyes but also give you hope on how to help our four legged friends. Find out more tonight on Newscenter at 10 on Fox 23 tonight. I don't think I've been this happy about food since I learned how to make the rice krispie treat!! Kellogs has finally given us back our Peanut Butter Pop Tarts!!! The last time any kind of peanut butter pop tart was on the shelves was back in 1987 when they pulled the Peanut Butter and Jelly Pop Tart. But now the wonderful pop tart scientists have come up with Peanut Butter Pop Tarts and Chocolate Frosted Peanut Butter Pop Tarts! It is a happy day in the Roberts household. I know what I'll be eating for breakfast (and maybe lunch) for the foreseeable future! Welcome back Peanut Butter Pop Tarts...we've missed you!!!!

If you were a fan of Jeanne Cooper, the woman who played Mrs. Chancellor on the Young & the Restless for 40 years, you'll be glad to know there is going to be a tribute to her on the May 28th episode of the show on Channel 6. Cast members of the show will be joined by her family and friends to honor her and her legacy on the show. As I said before, I haven't watched Young & Restless in about 10 years, but I'll be setting the DVR to watch the tribute. Mrs. Chancellor deserves that!
