Born and bred here in the Capital Region, and happy to still live within five miles of my childhood home in North Greenbush. I am the proud aunt of Gabrielle, Dominique, Robbie, Bridget, Kateri, Victoria, James, Olivia and little JR! I am happiest when I get to spend as much time as possible with them. I am also a certified pet lover, with two cats, Mokie and Minnie and two dogs....Freckles and Leo!!
And here's the newest photo of Leo, at two years old....he's learned to beg for pizza very well!
Spending time with family and friends is number one on my list of favorite leisure activities. I also enjoy movies, reading a good mystery, swimming and playing computer games (I have to stay on top of the games, so I can play with the kids). I love vacationing on Cape Cod, or heading out to sea on one of our Cruises to the Caribbean. Want to know more....feel free to ask! A couple of months back, Ellen had a little four year old boy named Kai on to sing Bruno Mars' Grenade. He was just adorable. Well, earlier this week, she had him back on and man, let me just say, it's almost hart to watch because he's just so cure and so sweet and so innocent, and I love how he sings. Watch Kai ask Ellen to be his girlfriend and sing another Bruno Mars song...

I remember when The Young & The Restless first came on the air in 1973. I was very young, but my mother and sisters were thrilled at the thought of a new "soap opera." So as kids do, I started watching with my older sisters and mom. I became hooked. This evil woman Mrs. Chancellor seemed to run everything. But then as the years went on, it was clear that the character had many different facets. She wasn't really evil, she had a kind side too, and a mean side, and a generous side and a thoughtful side and on and on. Thanks to Jeanne Cooper, the woman who played Mrs. Chancellor, the character was about as real as you could get on a soap opera. She clearly was the grand dame of the the show, and deservedly so. I stopped watching The Young & the Restless about 10-12 years ago, but that doesn't mean that every now and then when I was home, I wouldn't tune in to see what was going on with Katherine Chancellor. It was like checking in with a distant cousin. I always knew she'd be around to say hello to. Yesterday, Jeanne Cooper passed away at the age of 84. She may not get as much press as a bigger star who passes, but truth is, she came into our homes every day for 40 years...that's saying something. In fact, it's sazying alot! Mrs. Chancellor, you will be missed, but for my money, you're now in heaven chatting up God and letting him know how you stand on things. Rest in Peace!
No doubt, Charles Ramsey is a hero. He helped save Amanda Berry and the two other captives that were held in Cleveland for ten years. Of course, he also gave one of the most interesting TV interviews ever, and now it's been songified. Check it out!
Anyone who has dogs and cats knows this to be true...LOL. Thanks to my friend Suzanne for sending this to me! To see more cute pet pictures, just click on the photo above, and if you have a picture you'd like featured here, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks!

Eight Days a Week hasn't been performed live since the Beatles did it in 1965. But last night in Brazil, Paul McCartney decided to break out the song and play it, and as you can tell from the crowd singing along, I think it was a big hit!!! Check it out!
