Word is, Apple has pegged Sept. 12 as the day when they will take the wraps off of the new iPhone. I have an iPhone. I'm an Apple fan. And a former Apple employee. I have to admit: I am NOT one of the people who camps out for the new "must have devices." The grand announcements of Apple products do very little to impress me.

Yet, the idea of having a phone that I can talk to - and it acutally DOES something REALLY excites me. I wish this technology was installed in every other device I interact with during the day. Like my Computer... TV... Car... DVR. How cool would it be to give something a command and it actually does what you ask? 

Hold on... my wife is telling me to get off the computer for now.
